Victor Pedroso took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Heli. Damaso Heli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Damaso Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Pedroso in the 16th minute of play. Damaso Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Donzel in the 17th minute of play. Aaron Donzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Heli having to interfere. The supporters of Mollaco booed when Pehuajó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Joey didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pehuajó getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Omar Cerilo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Donzel in the 29th minute of play forced Pehuajó's goalkeeper Damaso Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Mollaco got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Gorosti. Claudio Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Eguen in the 36th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Eguen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aaron Donzel struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Damaso Heli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mollaco. In the 56th minute, Modesto Joey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Victor Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aaron Donzels short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Damaso Heli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Claudio Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Quinto in the 68th minute of the match. When Patricio Quinto came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Pehuajó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Quinto couldn't finish the play. Saverio Camerino kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Jeronimo Bladi kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Victor Pedroso came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Mollaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Pedroso couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the game, Modesto Joey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pehuajó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mollaco the free kick. Mollaco's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saverio Camerino in the 91st minute. The corner ended in Saverio Camerino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pehuajó's Damaso Heli did a great save. If Paulino Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mollaco walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
