The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Corriente.alterna's goalkeeper Americo Danel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Macias. After 3 minutes, Basilio Lop mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corriente.alterna and the Carranza FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Carranza FC booed when Corriente.alterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Lop didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Unax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Leheren charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Leheren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Corriente.alterna's Americo Danel got control of the ball when Hernan Tono tried to sneak it across the goal line. Feliberto Macias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Americo Danel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robustiano Ferman scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cirilo Fidencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Cirilo Truylos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Carranza FC's Cirilo Fidencio. Feliberto Macias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Danel having to interfere. Leonardo Unax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Americo Danel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Corriente.alterna were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Leonardo Unax made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Corriente.alterna's Higinio Jaume got a free kick in the 54th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Carranza FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Corriente.alterna:s goal. The referee gave Corriente.alterna a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Higinio Jaume, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carranza FC's Cirilo Fidencio. 0-3. Cirilo Truylos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Cirilo Fidencio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cirilo Truylos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Cirilo Fidencio made a huge save. Robustiano Ferman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Fidencio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Carranza FC's zone, Cirilo Truylos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cirilo Fidencio came out of the goal and Cirilo Truylos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Carranza FC's Cirilo Fidencio got control of the ball when Cirilo Truylos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Americo Danel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Macias in the 93rd minute of play. Americo Danel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliberto Macias went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.
