Cerrito's Virgilio Marin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Cerrito from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the match, Pescadores AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Heriberto came free, but Gaspar Gomesano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Inocencio Heriberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Joachim in the 18th minute of play forced Cerrito's goalkeeper Virgilio Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Bastian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Heriberto struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Gaspar Gomesano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerrito. Gaspar Gomesano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Heriberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Inocencio Heriberto scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Gomesano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 42 minutes, Inocencio Heriberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerrito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Heriberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inocencio Heriberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Joachim in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Marin saved Cerrito from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladislao Joachim to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Inocencio Heriberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Gomesano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Cerrito got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Erlantz. In the 58th minute Cornelio Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Cerrito's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Joachim came free, but Virgilio Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Inocencio Heriberto sped through Pescadores AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaspar Gomesano. Leon Eleder helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pescadores AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Leon Eleder hit a great ball. Leon Eleder was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Cerrito booed when Pescadores AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Eleder didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Pescadores AFC's Gaspar Gomesano got control of the ball when Isidro Bastian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Inocencio Heriberto struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Gaspar Gomesano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerrito. Gaspar Gomesano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Heriberto's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. When the match was over Cerrito could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pescadores AFC throughout the match.
