In the 2nd match minute, Piquete AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Ceandro to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Artemio Ruisko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palantelén FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Ruisko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Seme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Carlos Rami fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palantelén FC's protests and gave Carlos Rami a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Palantelén FC's Carlos Rami got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a little luck, Palantelén FC's Artemio Gabrio got control of the ball when Ramiro Eleder tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Palantelén FC's goalkeeper Artemio Gabrio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Eleder. Carolo Arnalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Seme having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Manuel Peyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piquete AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Peyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Felipe Opilano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Manuel Peyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carolo Arnalt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celestino Seme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Palantelén FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Piquete AFC:s goal. Artemio Ruisko took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celestino Seme. Celestino Seme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

55 minutes into the match, Piquete AFC's Manuel Peyo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artemio Gabrio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Palantelén FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ildefonso Unax hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Palantelén FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Peyo came free, but Artemio Gabrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Peyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Gabrio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Piquete AFC's zone, Carlos Rami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Seme came out of the goal and Carlos Rami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute Artemio Ruisko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Seme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Palantelén FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Peyo came free, but Artemio Gabrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Ramiro Eleder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artemio Gabrio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.
