Primitivo Sayveon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to CIMARRONES de Mexicali getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Apolo Hotz hit a great ball. When Emilio Matai fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CIMARRONES de Mexicali's protests and gave Emilio Matai a yellow card for diving instead. Cirilo Blasco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dionisio Gartzen. CIMARRONES de Mexicali's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Basilio Urre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Gartzen having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Uribelarrea walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
