The supporters of Cienaguita FC booed when CIMARRONES de Mexicali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Matai didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Cienaguita FC's Benito Osasun tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 26 minutes, Ovidio Birjaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CIMARRONES de Mexicali and the Cienaguita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of CIMARRONES de Mexicali:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cienaguita FC:s goal. Dionisio Gartzen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anacleto Evarado's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. CIMARRONES de Mexicali's Dionisio Gartzen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Oier in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Cienaguita FC's Prospero Playo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dionisio Gartzen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dionisio Gartzen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prospero Playo's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Benicio Enol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Fagondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

After 54 minutes, Prospero Playo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cienaguita FC and the CIMARRONES de Mexicali players grew even worse after the yellow card. Prospero Playo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Rafael Oier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th minute Cienaguita FC were awarded a corner. Benito Osasun went to the cornerflag to take it. If Prospero Playo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionisio Gartzen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Oier, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Apolo Hotz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Enol. Cienaguita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Hotz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After having played for 88 minutes, Marcelino Mendiko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cienaguita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Mendiko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dionisio Gartzen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Oier's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. CIMARRONES de Mexicali's Dionisio Gartzen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Oier in the 92nd minute of play. The CIMARRONES de Mexicali fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cienaguita FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
