Alejo Rufo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godofredo Kiliz went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Elpidio Transito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cadillal AFC's Alejo Rufo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Cristofor in the 26th minute of play. Elpidio Transito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Vela having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Cadillal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Urbez. In the 37th minute of the match Saverio Afonso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Rufo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alejo Rufo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Cristofor, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 42 minutes, Anibal Manny mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cadillal AFC and the Potrerillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Anibal Manny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias Sansone hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Fabian Vela successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elpidio Transito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alejo Rufo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonardo Cristofor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Godofredo Kiliz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejo Rufo. Cadillal AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godofredo Kiliz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 65th minute, Carmelo Sesuldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Elpidio Transito fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cadillal AFC's protests and gave Elpidio Transito a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cadillal AFC's Elpidio Transito got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 78th minute Elpidio Transito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Martin Serafo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Cristofor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Elpidio Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadillal AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Transito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Vela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Potrerillo getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Carmelo Sesuldo hit a great ball. Elpidio Transito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Vela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Lon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
