In the 15th minute Nunez Rexino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Cresenciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Amado Todor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Harkaitz was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 33rd minute, Leonides Lorien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes, Merced's Igor Petrigai shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jeremias Cresenciano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Merced reached it. Merced's Ezequiel Harkaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Todor in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Merced's zone, Ovidio Lia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Harkaitz came out of the goal and Ovidio Lia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Merced's Ezequiel Harkaitz got control of the ball when Generoso Perpinya tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amado Todor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ezequiel Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Merced's Igor Petrigai got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amado Todor to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Amado Todor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merced's Ezequiel Harkaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Golden Wariors's Amado Todor got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amado Todor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezequiel Harkaitz having to make a save. Amado Todor scored 1-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezequiel Harkaitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Amado Todor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Golden Wariors's Jeremias Cresenciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Rexino in the 72nd minute of play. Ezequiel Harkaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Todor in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Perpinya in the 81st minute of play forced Merced's goalkeeper Ezequiel Harkaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Amado Todor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Harkaitz was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Generoso Perpinya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Lia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Harkaitz having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Golden Wariors players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
