Carmelo Canor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Peter in the 4th minute of play. Carmelo Canor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Oskarbi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Elisa getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Hermengildo Luzea hit a great ball. Tobias Marko kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Concepción's Pascual Ederono proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Concepción from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Oalo in the 24th minute of play forced Concepción's goalkeeper Pascual Ederono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafino Peter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Canor having to interfere. Elisa's Carmelo Canor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Totakoxe in the 28th minute of play. Carmelo Canor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafino Peter's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafino Oskarbi to strike the kick off in the second half. Pascual Ederono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Lucado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Oalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Ederono having to interfere. Dionisio Lucado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Elisa's goalkeeper Carmelo Canor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafino Peter. In the 64th minute, Jose Oalo made a precise shot to the right of Pascual Ederono. Concepción's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Carmelo Canor made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Serafino Peter sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Concepción's goalkeeper Pascual Ederono, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute Dionisio Lucado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Ederono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Serafino Oskarbi came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Oskarbi couldn't finish the play. After having played for 81 minutes, Serafino Oskarbi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concepción's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Oskarbi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 minutes, Hermengildo Luzea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elisa and the Concepción players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Serafino Oskarbi got free in front of the goal in the 84th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Carmelo Canor was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Jose Oalo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elisa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Concepción's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
