With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Martxel in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Lamberto saved Tulumba AFC from getting behind. 31 minutes into the game, Pumahuasi FC's Federico Martxel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Lamberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, Federico Martxel notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tulumba AFC's Abelardo Lamberto. Abelardo Lamberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luciano Bernabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Sol in the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Esteve Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tulumba AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elvio Sol to make the kick off.
