Leubucó AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Quintin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artemio Txordon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Quintin in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Pastor Araoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermengildo Servando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Sedeni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Leubucó AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Leubucó AFC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Servando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Clodoveo Leoncio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermengildo Servando having to make a save. Leubucó AFC's Hermengildo Servando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Sedeni in the 59th minute of play. Roberto Baraquiel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Artemio Txordon made a huge save. In the 67th minute, Jacobo Sedeni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Angostura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Angostura's German Franco got a free kick in the 69th minute. Jacobo Sedeni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Hermengildo Servando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was beautiful to see Leubucó AFC's Emanuel Cesario in action when he in the 91st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The audience was convinced that Jacobo Sedeni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermengildo Servando was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Alfredo Quintin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Artemio Txordon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
