Cleto Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 9th match minute, Oscuridad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Sidro to maneuver through the defense. Gregorio Ferman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Ferman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Abeitia in the 22nd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celso Hunfredo to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Udpimango AFC's Cleto Chuan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Pierres was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gregorio Ferman made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Efrain Abeitia sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Oscuridad's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Chuan came free, but Santo Pierres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Udpimango AFC's zone, Celso Hunfredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Ferman came out of the goal and Celso Hunfredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efrain Abeitia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregorio Ferman having to make a save. Oscuridad's Santo Pierres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Chuan in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Udpimango AFC got a corner. Oscuridad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carolo Thomas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Carolo Thomas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Oscuridad's Santo Pierres did a great save. Celso Hunfredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Efrain Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Efrain Abeitia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oscuridad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Abeitia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cleto Chuan struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Santo Pierres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Udpimango AFC. Efrain Abeitia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregorio Ferman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Udpimango AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Oscuridad for a fine match.
