Gregorio Roanos short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Nicasio Senin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Roman Burutzagi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florentino Vellito having to make a save. Arnaldo Belmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Senin having to interfere. If Fernan Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acuña's goalkeeper Florentino Vellito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Gilberto Manilan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falckner AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Manilan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florentino Vellito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Manilan to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Gilberto Manilan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Florentino Vellito, 0-1. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Falckner AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
