After 55 played minutes, Boquerón FC's Pastor Teofilio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Delmar Ermano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boquerón FC reached it. In the 60th match minute, México was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Medero to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Boquerón FC's Luciano Franco tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Fermin Corderro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gerardo Prejun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gerardo Prejun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Corderro in the 68th minute of play. Javier Abaurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Solustiano struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Delmar Ermano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boquerón FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Boquerón FC's Honorato Etxepare slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Delmar Ermano. That made the score 2-1 after 75 minutes of play. In the 78th minute, Hernan Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Prejun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in México's zone, Alfonso Solustiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Ermano came out of the goal and Alfonso Solustiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Javier Abaurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. México's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
