Poshos's Dario Paz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Fernado in the 19th minute of play. Delmar Guifre's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Vicente Colon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Poshos booed when Carolina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Guipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Poshos's Delmar Guifre got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 31 minutes, Aquilino Rozarius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carolina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Rozarius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Poshos's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Rozarius came free, but Dario Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Carolina:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Poshos:s goal. The goalkeeper, Vicente Colon, was totally fooled by Poshos's Teodoro Quentin, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some careless play in the Carolina defense, Delmar Guifre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Colon. The Carolina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Colon should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmar Guifre to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Delmar Guifre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Poshos's Arnoldo Platon got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Poshos's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Fernado came free, but Dario Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Paz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Rozarius, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Vicente Colon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Guifre in the 80th minute of the match. If Delmar Guifre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Poshos's Saul Bernal got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Delmar Guifre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arnoldo Platon came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Poshos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Platon couldn't finish the play. After having played for 96 minutes, Delmar Guifre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poshos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Guifre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Poshos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
