After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Pascual Piorno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celso Ascencio's late challenge caught a Blandengues FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cecilio Ubarna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cecilio Ubarna to make the kick off.
