In the 19th minute, Guido Frisco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romulo Cerilo. The goal made the score 1-0. FC barcelona's Romulo Cerilo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save FC barcelona from getting a goal against them. Romulo Cerilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Erdiano in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC barcelona defense, Guido Frisco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Cerilo. The FC barcelona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Cerilo should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Mercedes FC's Armando Sindo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romulo Cerilo. That made the score 3-0 after 37 minutes of play. After 45 minutes, Clodoveo Precioso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC barcelona and the Mercedes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, FC barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Precioso to maneuver through the defense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 齐风思 ran back to his position shaking his head. During the 84th minute of the match Guido Frisco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Guido Frisco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 85 played minutes Mercedes FC got a freekick which was hit by Guido Frisco. After a defensive mix-up in Mercedes FC's zone, Israel Pacho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Nalo came out of the goal and Israel Pacho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Victorino Barros fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC barcelona's protests and gave Victorino Barros a yellow card for diving instead.
