Languileo's Humberto Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Colon in the 31st minute of play. Humberto Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Colon in the 32nd minute of play. Romeo Ricart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Chorache in the 67th minute of play forced Correra's goalkeeper Romeo Ricart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Guillermo Nuno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Guillermo Nuno made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Machado. Languileo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Guillermo Nuno struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Humberto Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Correra. After a defensive mix-up in Languileo's zone, Guillermo Nuno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Machado came out of the goal and Guillermo Nuno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romeo Ricart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Chorache in the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Guillermo Nuno managed to get in a good position for a shot.
