But to his dismay, Norberto Daunte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Conrado Eguerdi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabossi's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Eguerdi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Playo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cidampajao AFC's goalkeeper Pablo Playo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tabossi's Jose Cerilo got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Jose Cerilo off the ground. Conrado Eguerdi might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pablo Playo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Eguerdi ran back to his position shaking his head. Artemio Raphael's late challenge caught a Tabossi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artemio Raphael helped the player get up and apologised. Artemio Raphael kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Cidampajao AFC booed when Tabossi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Vitin didn't get a good kick on the ball.
