Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ildefonso Olivar to make the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixto Geofredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blas Erruki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Mel in the 65th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Mel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Erruki was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Wilfredo Mel sped through Soitué FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Blas Erruki. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ycuha AFC had won after a very even match.
