Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gaspar Poz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Verónica's Gaspar Poz got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaspar Poz struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Arnoldo Pelayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verónica. Ricardo Hori might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnoldo Pelayo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Hori ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes in the game, Gaspar Poz dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Jimeno Tximitx charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jimeno Tximitx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Diamante AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Verónica:s goal. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Verónica. Zeledon Bizi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arnoldo Pelayo. 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Fulgencio Benet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diamante AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Verónica's goalkeeper Paolo Rameriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angel Ekain. If Hector Hermon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diamante AFC's Arnoldo Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Poz in the 34th minute of play. Verónica's Ricardo Hori got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnoldo Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Poz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Angel Ekain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paolo Rameriz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The audience was convinced that Gaspar Poz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Pelayo was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulgencio Benet made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulgencio Benet in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paolo Rameriz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fulgencio Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Verónica's Hector Hermon got a free kick in the 55th minute. The supporters of Verónica booed when Diamante AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Ekain didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Feliciano Eskuin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Verónica's Zeledon Bizi in action when he in the 61st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Ricardo Hori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulgencio Benet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paolo Rameriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. When Gaspar Poz came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Verónica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Poz couldn't finish the play. Paolo Rameriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Benet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Fulgencio Benet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
