Honorio Rodas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Cleto Donzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henderson FC's Silvio Sazon got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Honorio Rodas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Rodas in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cleto Donzel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Anier Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Ramone in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Candelaria getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. When Candelaria's Octavio Ramone in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Henderson FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Abad during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Henderson FC's Francisco Incendio tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Octavio Ramone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Honorio Rodas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anier Olivar came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Candelaria's Generoso Pepillo. But to his dismay, Generoso Pepillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Silvio Sazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th minute, Honorio Rodas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 minutes, Erasmo Calvet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candelaria and the Henderson FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Candelaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Calvet to maneuver through the defense. After 82 minutes of play, Henderson FC's Honorio Rodas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cleto Donzel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 97 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Sazon came free, but Cleto Donzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
