Constantino Valiente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Jayvier in the 11th minute of play. Pastor Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Cesar Valery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Constantino Valiente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantino Valiente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evelio Jayvier went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Cesar Valery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, chivas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Jayvier came free, but Constantino Valiente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, chivas FC's Melquiades Tauro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Cosme Joey, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 25 minutes in the game, Pastor Cordarryl fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Urbano Constancio having to interfere. If Cesar Valery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, chivas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Valery came free, but Constantino Valiente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. chivas FC's Pastor Cordarryl got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evelio Jayvier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Valiente having to interfere. Constantino Valiente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Jayvier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantino Valiente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evelio Jayvier went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Constantino Valiente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Valery's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The chivas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ajó were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melquiades Tauro made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nestor Cidro during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of chivas FC booed when Ajó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Cidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute chivas FC were awarded a corner. Artemio Beliran went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Arnulfo Perfecto got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Cesar Valery managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ajó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Valery was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, chivas FC's Constantino Valiente got control of the ball when Evelio Jayvier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constantino Valiente was a little too slow when Cesar Valery got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-3. Constantino Valiente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evelio Jayvier in the 71st minute. Constantino Valiente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Valery's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 74th minute, but Constantino Valiente got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving chivas FC hanging dry this time. When Cesar Valery came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ajó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Valery couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, chivas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Valery came free, but Constantino Valiente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Melquiades Tauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evelio Jayvier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Constantino Valiente when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Constantino Valiente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Valery in the 90th minute of the match. Cesar Valery struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Constantino Valiente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ajó. In the 96th minute, Cesar Valery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ajó left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than chivas FC.
