Miramar AFC's Gaudencio Bernebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Kusko in the 22nd minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Miramar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when German Kusko came free, but Gaudencio Bernebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaudencio Bernebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Hermon in the 38th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruperto Oliverio to strike the kick off in the second half.
