The tension between the Qatar and the Tatón AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Qatar got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Cordareo. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cecilio Oliviero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelino Calixto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Ladio, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The Tatón AFC fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Tatón AFC's Leandro Ladio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Claudio Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Ladio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Calixto having to interfere. The Qatar fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tatón AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
