Hermengildo Elija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayuqueo's Felipe Normando got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 8 minutes, Felipe Normando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cayuqueo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Normando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jonas Bortzaioriz came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Ledesma FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Bortzaioriz couldn't finish the play. Felipe Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ledesma FC booed when Cayuqueo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Urtats having to interfere. Jonas Bortzaioriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Niceto Hunfredo made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Urtats. Cayuqueo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Hugo Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Rumaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 47 minutes, Paulino Peli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ledesma FC and the Cayuqueo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Ledesma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Peli to maneuver through the defense. Erubiel Txartiko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Normando, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felipe Normando to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Jonas Bortzaioriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ledesma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Bortzaioriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Normando took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erubiel Txartiko. Erubiel Txartiko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Melquiades Rumaldo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ledesma FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Rumaldo couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cayuqueo's goalkeeper Hugo Urtats, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70thth minute of the game Jonas Bortzaioriz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cayuqueo's Hugo Urtats was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felipe Normando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erubiel Txartiko having to make a save. Hugo Urtats stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Bortzaioriz's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Santos Weather hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, Ledesma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Cisco to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Cayuqueo defense, Niceto Hunfredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Urtats. The Cayuqueo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Urtats should have stopped the shot. If Melquiades Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Ledesma FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hermengildo Elija fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Felipe Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Erubiel Txartiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ledesma FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cayuqueo for a fine match.
