An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Dodorol in the 8th minute of play forced Flechadores del Cielo's goalkeeper Primitivo Geleberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Erasmo Rubio came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Ojeda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Rubio couldn't finish the play. If Generoso Locaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Jacobo Llorienzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flechadores del Cielo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ojeda AFC the free kick. The supporters of Ojeda AFC booed when Flechadores del Cielo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Llorienzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Enrique Dodorol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ojeda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Dodorol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ojeda AFC's Enrique Dodorol got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flechadores del Cielo's Primitivo Geleberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Rubio in the 35th minute of play. Primitivo Geleberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Dodorol, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Botello made a kick off. With his leg Primitivo Geleberto managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Ojeda AFC's Enrique Dodorol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Erasmo Rubio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Primitivo Geleberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Ojeda AFC's Enrique Dodorol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Primitivo Geleberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Efrain Nofre fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ojeda AFC's protests and gave Efrain Nofre a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ojeda AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Efrain Nofre hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Generoso Locaio in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Mendiko saved Ojeda AFC from getting behind. Erasmo Rubio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Primitivo Geleberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Dodorol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Geleberto having to interfere. The tension between the Flechadores del Cielo and the Ojeda AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Flechadores del Cielo got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Peru. In the 94thth minute of the game Erasmo Rubio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flechadores del Cielo's Primitivo Geleberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ojeda AFC played a much better game than Flechadores del Cielo and deserved their victory. The Flechadores del Cielo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
