Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Paolo Reynardo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bruno Kepa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Reynardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ranqueles FC's Bruno Kepa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Reynardo in the 9th minute of play. Rolando Cordearo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Saturnino Martino had several of the Matheu's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Antonio Furman as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 23rd minute, Bonifacio Bertran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Stephen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Antonio Furman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 27 minutes into the game, Gaspar Lauro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matheu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ranqueles FC the free kick. After 27 played minutes Matheu got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Lauro. Antonio Furman was a little too slow when Saturnino Martino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 33rd minute Filiberto Tome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Kepa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Saturnino Martino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes Ranqueles FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Millano. Paolo Reynardo struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Bruno Kepa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matheu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Reynardo in the 42nd minute of play forced Ranqueles FC's goalkeeper Bruno Kepa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Lauro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 48 minutes Matheu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jimeno Lugo who took care of the corner kick. Jimeno Lugo made a great header on Ranqueles FC's corner, it was just that Matheu's Antonio Furman managed to reach the ball for a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saturnino Martino was the one to do the kick off. Saturnino Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 54th minute, Rogelio Stephen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th match minute, Matheu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Reynardo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogelio Stephen in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Furman saved Matheu from getting behind. Rogelio Stephen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Antonio Furman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Anselmo Millano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonio Furman. Matheu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Millano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 67th minute Saturnino Martino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Filiberto Tome managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matheu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Tome was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saturnino Martino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Stephen in the 94th minute of play. Matheu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
