In the 8th minute Cesar Celino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Berriotxoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Chap in the 13th minute of play forced Paulito's goalkeeper Paulino Berriotxoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Paulito getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Lázaro Gustau hit a great ball. Domingo Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Azeari, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Adrian Tiso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Domingo Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paulito's goalkeeper Paulino Berriotxoa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Eloy Chap got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Paulito's goalkeeper Paulino Berriotxoa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cesar Celino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Berriotxoa having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute of the match Cosme Otsoa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingo Neto skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Cheminea FC booed when Paulito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Gustau didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cheminea FC's Cesar Celino, in the 54th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Cheminea FC. Eloy Chap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, Cheminea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Calvino to maneuver through the defense. Domingo Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Tiso in the 71st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Mikolas during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Paulito booed when Cheminea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Mikolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Eloy Chap recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulino Berriotxoa. Eloy Chap showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. If Cesar Celino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulito's Paulino Berriotxoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Chap in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eloy Chap in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulino Berriotxoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulino Berriotxoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Chap in the 94th minute of play. Aurelio Azeari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cheminea FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
