Cesar Celino had several of the Los Tuzos del Pachuca F.C's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gaudencio Silbestre as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cesar Celino might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaudencio Silbestre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesar Celino ran back to his position shaking his head. The Los Tuzos del Pachuca F.C fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Los Tuzos del Pachuca F.C's Luisito Elixio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 27 played minutes, Cheminea FC's Esteban Lehen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaudencio Silbestre came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cheminea FC reached it. With an all-out effort, Cheminea FC's Gaudencio Silbestre threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eloy Chap, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eloy Chap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Silbestre having to interfere. Cesar Celino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eloy Chap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Tuzos del Pachuca F.C's Gaudencio Silbestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Chap in the 40th minute of play. When Eloy Chap came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Cheminea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Chap couldn't finish the play. Cesar Celino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Eloy Chap made the kick off in the second half. When Cheminea FC's Eloy Chap in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Eloy Chap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Chap scored 3-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaudencio Silbestre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Domingo Neto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cecilio Machado in the 82nd minute. Elvio Gai hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Cheminea FC's Eloy Chap got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Baldomiro Tipi fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Tuzos del Pachuca F.C's protests and gave Baldomiro Tipi a yellow card for diving instead. Baldomiro Tipi kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Domingo Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Elixio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Eloy Chap managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cheminea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Chap was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Silbestre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cheminea FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cesar Celino hit a great ball. Los Tuzos del Pachuca F.C's Luisito Elixio got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cheminea FC fully deserved thier win.
