A hard shot 12 in the game by Marcial Vasco from a close distance when the talented Teo Palos managed to make a qualified save. Muñoz FC's players were relieved. A collision led to Muñoz FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Carmelo Bermund hit a great ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Dalmacio Ixona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muñoz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Ixona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teo Palos made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Marcial Vasco sent off a good shot on target. After 20 played minutes Muñoz FC got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Bermund. Emilio Procopio shot from long distance in the 21st minute, but Teo Palos was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. A collision led to Palavecino FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Arnaldo Lop hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Ixona in the 27th minute of play forced Palavecino FC's goalkeeper Joel Pirro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Procopio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmacio Ixona in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Pirro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teo Palos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Laffitte in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Palavecino FC booed when Muñoz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Xacintu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teo Palos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Laffitte, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmacio Ixona to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Palavecino FC defense, Adolfo Caitano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Pirro. The Palavecino FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Pirro should have stopped the shot. After 55 minutes, Carmelo Bermund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muñoz FC and the Palavecino FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Adolfo Caitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Marcial Vasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Palos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Palavecino FC's Paolo Laffitte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teo Palos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teo Palos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Laffitte's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Teo Palos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Laffitte in the 70th minute of the match. The corner led Palavecino FC's Emilio Procopio to fire away a dangerous shot which Teo Palos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Paolo Laffitte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palavecino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Laffitte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Palos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Muñoz FC booed when Palavecino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Pio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 played minutes Palavecino FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Pio. In the 91st match minute, Palavecino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Laffitte to maneuver through the defense.
