Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Alvaro Lop made the kick off and thus started the match. When Robustiano Leheren came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Covunco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Leheren couldn't finish the play. After 8 played minutes Maipú got a freekick which was hit by Dario Semeno. A collision led to Maipú getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Silverio Montrel hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Alvaro Lop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Covunco's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Lop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Primitivo Mano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robustiano Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Mano having to interfere. Covunco's Robustiano Leheren got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maipú's Primitivo Mano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Maipú from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute of the match Felipe Jeraldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Primitivo Mano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Robustiano Leheren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Covunco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Leheren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Covunco getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Celestino Balesio hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Elias Orlan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Reyes was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Alvaro Lop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Primitivo Mano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Dalmacio Quintan put in a rough tackle. 39 minutes into the game, one of Maipú:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Robustiano Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Mano having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Maipú's Dario Semeno got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robustiano Leheren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Primitivo Mano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Elias Orlan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Covunco booed when Maipú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Nevada didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Robustiano Leheren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Lop struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Primitivo Mano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Covunco. In the 69th minute, Dario Semeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Covunco's Aureliano Fertus couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Maipú. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Semeno during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dario Semeno hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Maipú's zone, Robustiano Leheren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Mano came out of the goal and Robustiano Leheren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Maipú's Elias Orlan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Reyes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvaro Lop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Primitivo Mano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Covunco walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
