In the 5th minute, Herminio Vermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 played minutes Roman Enekoitz shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Juntas AFC's Cristian Corderro to catch but Roman Enekoitz was lucky. It became 1-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. 15 minutes into the match, Esquina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Enol came free, but Delmiro Blasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidoro Ticho during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Erasmo Jorrin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Corderro was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Quintyn in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmiro Blasi saved Esquina AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Quintyn in the 31st minute of play forced Esquina AFC's goalkeeper Delmiro Blasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Erasmo Jorrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luisito Bibiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juntas AFC's Angelo Quintyn got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmiro Blasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Dalmu, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Arnulfo Dalmu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erasmo Jorrin to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Juntas AFC's goalkeeper Cristian Corderro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Erasmo Jorrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Edorta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arnulfo Dalmu came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Juntas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Dalmu couldn't finish the play. Cristian Corderro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Jorrin's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Angelo Quintyn came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Juntas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Quintyn couldn't finish the play. Delmiro Blasi was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Arnulfo Dalmu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnulfo Dalmu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The Juntas AFC fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Juntas AFC's Arnulfo Dalmu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Juntas AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Esquina AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
