Astica's Luciano Bakar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Munio in the 28th minute of play. Chas's Tadeo Arotza pulled a muscle in his leg after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Dalmacio Lesardo charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Lesardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chas were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
