Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vilela's Vladimiro Rios started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes of play, Ibahay's Cristo Bingen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Sandalio was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Vladimiro Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When David Txeru fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vilela's protests and gave David Txeru a yellow card for diving instead. Ruben Sandalio came out of the goal and Cristo Bingen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cristo Bingen came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ibahay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Bingen couldn't finish the play. When Jonathan Sasoin came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Vilela fans jumped to their feet. Vinicio Janpier hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Vladimiro Rios showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
