If Feliciano Cuervas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Xusto Rodero's Tadeo Egoitz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. In the 49th minute of the match, Francisco Batista tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guido Eneto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Abel was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Batista in the 59th minute of play forced Plan de Ayala FC's goalkeeper Guido Eneto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Xusto Rodero's Francisco Batista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guido Eneto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Francisco Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guido Eneto was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Feliciano Cuervas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Eneto having to interfere. Guido Eneto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
