After a defensive mix-up in Zavalla's zone, Uriel Xabier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Gines came out of the goal and Uriel Xabier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Israel Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Garrayalde's Horacio Furtado in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zavalla's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Garrayalde getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ruben Rolado hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Zavalla defense, Uriel Xabier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Israel Gines. The Zavalla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Israel Gines should have stopped the shot. Uriel Xabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Israel Gines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Horacio Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After a defensive mix-up in Zavalla's zone, Horacio Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Gines came out of the goal and Horacio Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Xabier in the 57th minute of play forced Zavalla's goalkeeper Israel Gines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Garrayalde getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Primitivo Lopes hit a great ball. A hard shot by Aristides Musko from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Francisco Gotzon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Francisco Gotzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Gabino in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garrayalde's goalkeeper Francisco Gotzon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Francisco Gotzon managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Zavalla's Alberto Niva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Uriel Xabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Zavalla got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Domeka. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Furtado in the 87th minute of play forced Zavalla's goalkeeper Israel Gines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anastasio Rocendo fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garrayalde's protests and gave Anastasio Rocendo a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Garrayalde got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Rocendo. Delmiro Salvadore kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
