Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hugo Lartaun started the match with the kick off. Vladimiro Socorro took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kazimierz Czeszejko. Kazimierz Czeszejko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 8th minute, one of Cruz Azul:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cruz Azul. A hard shot 17 in the game by Vladimiro Socorro from a close distance when the talented Kazimierz Czeszejko managed to make a qualified save. Cruz Azul's players were relieved. In the 19th minute, Arturo Quintin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Hugo Lartaun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olaeta's Arturo Quintin got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Vladimiro Socorro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olaeta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimiro Socorro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimiro Socorro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Kazimierz Czeszejko made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimiro Socorro got free with Kazimierz Czeszejko in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Cruz Azul's Kazimierz Czeszejko got control of the ball when Vladimiro Socorro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

With a little luck, Olaeta's Julian Cuarto got control of the ball when Emanuel Canor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kazimierz Czeszejko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Quintin in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cruz Azul's Eusebio Bihar got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Adriana Urtats shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kazimierz Czeszejko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arturo Quintin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Czeszejko having to interfere. A hard shot 65 in the game by Nicolas Liher from a close distance when the talented Julian Cuarto managed to make a qualified save. Olaeta's players were relieved. The supporters of Cruz Azul booed when Olaeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Hernando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimiro Socorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erubiel Enmanuel hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Vladimiro Socorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Socorro in the 78th minute of play forced Cruz Azul's goalkeeper Kazimierz Czeszejko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Epifanio Inguma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olaeta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Kazimierz Czeszejko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Quintin went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Cruz Azul's Borys Moizuk got a free kick in the 89th minute. Kazimierz Czeszejko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Quintin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hugo Lartaun fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cruz Azul's protests and gave Hugo Lartaun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Hugo Lartaun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
