After 6 played minutes Chilca AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Raymond. Chilca AFC's Bruno Chaime got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mexico City's Siro Raitin got a free kick in the 15th minute. Siro Raitin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Bartolome having to make a save. If Mateo Rufio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Chilca AFC's Bruno Chaime sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Abadia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico City's zone, Bruno Chaime stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Abadia came out of the goal and Bruno Chaime tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mexico City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Generoso Tiso scored to the left of an out of position Leonides Abadia, making the score, 1-0. In the 39th match minute, Mexico City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Bero to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th match minute, Mexico City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Huly to maneuver through the defense. Silvio Quilino struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Leonides Abadia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chilca AFC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Siro Raitin was the one to do the kick off. Generoso Tiso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Bruno Chaime managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chilca AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Chaime was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Abadia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Siro Raitin in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Bartolome saved Chilca AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Eustaquio Bero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico City's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Bero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Bartolome breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Chaime sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Chaime's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Abadia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Leonides Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Chaime, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Bruno Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Tiso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Leonides Abadia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonides Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Chaime in the 77th minute of the match. Bruno Chaime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Abadia having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Generoso Tiso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chilca AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Tiso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Generoso Tiso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Abadia. Mexico City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Generoso Tiso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. There was no doubt that Chilca AFC were the better team. Chilca AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
