When Osvaldo Benvide came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Energía fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Benvide couldn't finish the play. Energía's Pedro Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Vela in the 7th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Lluc got free with Pedro Balasi in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Energía's goalkeeper Pedro Balasi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Gonchan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Vela in the 19th minute of play forced Energía's goalkeeper Pedro Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Lluc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Balasi having to interfere. Pedro Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Feliz in the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Morea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Martxot to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes Morea got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Feliz. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marciano Etxahun to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Morea's zone, Osvaldo Benvide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Ekialde came out of the goal and Osvaldo Benvide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Fabio Vela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Energía's Ciro Gaxan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ciro Gaxan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Energía protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ciro Gaxan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 59th minute, Ciro Gaxan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Vela in the 63rd minute of play forced Energía's goalkeeper Pedro Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Energía got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Rafel. Fabricio Marques hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Pedro Balasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Gonchan in the 73rd minute of play. Abel Gonchan scored 1-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Balasi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Abel Gonchan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Balasi. Energía's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Gonchan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 85th minute Abel Gonchan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Angelino Ipar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Lluc in the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Morea's Fabio Vela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Balasi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Morea's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
