In the 17th minute, Abelardo Duardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute Abelardo Duardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Ricart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anchorena AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abelardo Duardo 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 36th minute Iker Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Ricart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Ricart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Duardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Damaso Iratze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Orlan succeeded in the game's 44th minute to get real power on a long shot . Anchorena AFC's Ciriaco Ricart hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-0!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Balesio made a kick off. Vilgo's Filiberto Feliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Balesio in the 53rd minute of play. Filiberto Feliz made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Maximiliano Edorta sent off a good shot on target. If Cipriano Kismi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Cipriano Kismi made a precise shot to the right of Ciriaco Ricart. Anchorena AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Cipriano Kismi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiberto Feliz made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Maximiliano Edorta sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 85 minutes, Maximiliano Edorta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anchorena AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Edorta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Vilgo booed when Anchorena AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Luix didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes, Vilgo's Ruben Orlan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ciriaco Ricart came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vilgo reached it. Filiberto Feliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Balesio, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Anchorena AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Kismi came free, but Ciriaco Ricart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Anchorena AFC's zone, Abelardo Duardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Ricart came out of the goal and Abelardo Duardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vilgo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
