Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Florentino Seme took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tatón AFC's zone, Virgilio Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Elixio came out of the goal and Virgilio Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Girondo's Donato Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Quilo in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Clementi got free with Lino Elixio in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Virgilio Poncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Elixio having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Girondo got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Mazuste. In the 21st minute, Florentino Seme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donato Heli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 24 played minutes Girondo got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Oriche. In the 31st minute of the match Mariano Oidor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lino Elixio skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Tatón AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Nunez Mano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Poncio in the 36th minute of play forced Tatón AFC's goalkeeper Lino Elixio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tatón AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Modesto Quilo hit a great ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Aaron Clementi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Girondo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Clementi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgilio Poncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Elixio having to interfere. In the 46th minute, one of Girondo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Girondo. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Tatón AFC. Justo Oroitz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Donato Heli. 0-2. The Girondo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tatón AFC were winning 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgilio Poncio to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgilio Poncio in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Elixio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute, Virgilio Poncio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lino Elixio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Aaron Clementi struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Lino Elixio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Girondo. Nunez Mano hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Lino Elixio had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Honorio Dorio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Girondo's Hilario Oriche got a free kick in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgilio Poncio in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Elixio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pastor Quilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Virgilio Poncio put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Lino Elixio. Lino Elixio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Poncio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aaron Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 102nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
