After 19 played minutes, Chosmes's Tobias Llope shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baldomero Thomas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chosmes reached it. If Cecilio Sidoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chosmes booed when Molinitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Chan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Llope took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baldomero Thomas. Molinitos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Molinitos's Feliberto Cesario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apolo Servando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Evaristo Florian charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo Florian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Apolo Servando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Cesario, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Cecilio Sidoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Chosmes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
