If Fulgencio Magdaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clodoveo Manuelo made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Fulgencio Magdaleno sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute Cecilio Cilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Manuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cieneguita's Fulgencio Magdaleno got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cieneguita's Melquiades Erroman got a free kick in the 21st minute. 27 minutes into the match, Cieneguita's Fulgencio Magdaleno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clodoveo Manuelo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eduardo Lohitzun's late challenge caught a Cieneguita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Lohitzun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Eduardo Lohitzun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulgencio Magdaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Clodoveo Manuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clodoveo Manuelo made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Fulgencio Magdaleno sent off a good shot on target. When Fulgencio Magdaleno came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Cieneguita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Magdaleno couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Urtsua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aparicio FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cieneguita the free kick. Rigoberto Urtsua hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Fulgencio Magdaleno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Clodoveo Manuelo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The wind increased when Paolo Tabb made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Cieneguita's Claudio Lopes got control of the ball when Cecilio Orlondon tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Fulgencio Magdaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cieneguita getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eliseo Calixto hit a great ball. Fulgencio Magdaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Clodoveo Manuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aparicio FC's zone, Cecilio Cilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Manuelo came out of the goal and Cecilio Cilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Cieneguita getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Serafin Urbasa hit a great ball. Clodoveo Manuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Cilio in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Aparicio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Magdaleno came free, but Clodoveo Manuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clodoveo Manuelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cecilio Cilio's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Luisito Raulo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Aparicio FC's Luisito Raulo got a free kick in the 88th minute. Clodoveo Manuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Magdaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Fulgencio Magdaleno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cecilio Cilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Aparicio FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
