Bonifacio Benvide started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, lokos de la akd's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Larpe came free, but Silverio Joachim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Joachim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Salvadore in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, lokos de la akd's Mauricio Casado got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Erubiel Larpe came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Gold Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Larpe couldn't finish the play. Aaron Lorencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Gai having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Salvadore in the 48th minute of play forced lokos de la akd's goalkeeper Silverio Joachim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Salvadore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ariel Socorro's late challenge caught a lokos de la akd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 61stth minute of the game Bonifacio Benvide who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gold Stars's Aristides Gai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Christian Salvadore came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Gold Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Salvadore couldn't finish the play. If Christian Salvadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. In the 75th match minute, Gold Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Tancredo to maneuver through the defense. Erubiel Larpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Joachim having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Erubiel Larpe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gold Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Christian Salvadore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. If Christian Salvadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gold Stars played a much better game than lokos de la akd and deserved their victory. The lokos de la akd players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
