Arsenio Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Matei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Teofilio having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Augusto Martinez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Eulalio Sauveur got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cipriano Teofilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Matei in the 20th minute of the match. Arsenio Lixandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Reynaldo Gonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Leo Maurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsenio Lixandro took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Gonzo. Reynaldo Gonzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arsenio Lixandro in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Gonzo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reynaldo Gonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Lixandro in the 43rd minute of play. If Vicente Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arsenio Lixandro to strike the kick off in the second half. Eulalio Sauveur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74thth minute of the game Eulalio Sauveur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cardozos's Cipriano Teofilio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Iruya AFC's Eulalio Sauveur in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cardozos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Iruya AFC.
