When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Gaspar Duarte took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Silvestre Chano to make any attempt to save it. In the 10th minute, Adrian Felipo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and GUADALAJARA FC's Alejo Salvino didn't even have to move. The supporters of Canteras AFC booed when GUADALAJARA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Edwardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fidel Erroman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejo Salvino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atilano Orixe went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, Atilano Orixe notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of GUADALAJARA FC's Alejo Salvino. Alejo Salvino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Atilano Orixe came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Canteras AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Orixe couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atilano Orixe in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejo Salvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the game, Fidel Erroman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Alejo Salvino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute, Fidel Erroman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the GUADALAJARA FC defense, Fidel Erroman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejo Salvino. The GUADALAJARA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejo Salvino should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 52 played minutes Canteras AFC got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Heriberto. Gaspar Duarte spun around in front of the goal 53 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Canteras AFC's goal. The audience was convinced that Gaspar Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Chano was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Fidel Erroman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejo Salvino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Fidel Erroman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alejo Salvino firmly grabbed it by the left post. Silvestre Chano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erubiel Regis's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Canteras AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GUADALAJARA FC:s goal. If Erubiel Regis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Gaspar Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Chano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Duarte struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Silvestre Chano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GUADALAJARA FC. Alejo Salvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Inocente, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Fidel Erroman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The GUADALAJARA FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Canteras AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Canteras AFC.
