The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antonio Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Sindo having to interfere. Gaudencio Palben showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Enmanuel in the 7th minute of the match. Adan Chorache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Higinio Romelio hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Gaudencio Palben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Enmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Antonio Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ivan Sindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Juan Jerrald fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DEP.....ORO's protests and gave Juan Jerrald a yellow card for diving instead. Antonio Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Sindo having to interfere. If Tiburcio Enmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Adan Chorache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marquesado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan Chorache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiburcio Enmanuel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ivan Sindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Errapel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute Rene Errapel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adan Chorache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gaudencio Palben tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 minutes, Rolando Neron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DEP.....ORO and the Marquesado players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee showed Casimiro Dorio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Marquesado's Casimiro Dorio got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Rene Errapel managed to get in a good position for a shot. DEP.....ORO's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Errapel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Sindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Alejandro Bertin took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Gaudencio Palben to make any attempt to save it. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marquesado's goalkeeper Ivan Sindo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Marquesado's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Errapel came free, but Ivan Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adan Chorache's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gaudencio Palben firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 85 played minutes Marquesado got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Bertin. Rene Errapel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ivan Sindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
