Abelardo Fliz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alejandro Leizarraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico Alonso came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Yoca FC's Alejandro Leizarraga. But to his dismay, Alejandro Leizarraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Morillo AFC's Guido Aurre got a free kick in the 29th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Feliberto Jurgi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Federico Alonso. That made the score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. Abelardo Fliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Dodorol in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Morillo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Ospin to maneuver through the defense. Feliberto Jurgi struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Federico Alonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yoca FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Edgardo Dodorol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morillo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Dodorol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Fliz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The audience was convinced that Alejandro Leizarraga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Alonso was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Morillo AFC's zone, Feliberto Jurgi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Alonso came out of the goal and Feliberto Jurgi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejandro Leizarraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Federico Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Fliz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Qwinton in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Dodorol in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Fliz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Feliberto Jurgi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Alonso having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Alejandro Leizarraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yoca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Leizarraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Federico Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 78 minutes, Rogelio Oso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morillo AFC and the Yoca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alejandro Leizarraga scored 3-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Alonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 82 played minutes Yoca FC got a freekick which was hit by Blas Sarracino. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Edgardo Dodorol put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Abelardo Fliz. In the 90th minute Edgardo Dodorol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Fliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Yoca FC booed when Morillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Aurre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, David Estebano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morillo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Estebano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Fliz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yoca FC had won after a very even match.
