After 8 minutes, Baltasar Chale made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Loncopué's Saturnino Evis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jimeno Senon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Baltasar Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Baltasar Chale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saturnino Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Quilino in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 minutes, Esteve Olivar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loncopué and the Unzué players grew even worse after the yellow card. Esteve Olivar hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Esteve Olivar was shown his second yellow card after 26 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Loncopué's Esteve Olivar got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Loncopué's zone, Jimeno Senon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saturnino Evis came out of the goal and Jimeno Senon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 minutes of play, Unzué's Baltasar Chale made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saturnino Evis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Loncopué's Fabian Chan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When Unzué's Baltasar Chale in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Loncopué's goalie prevented a goal. Saturnino Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Chale in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Jimeno Senon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unzué's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Senon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltasar Chale in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saturnino Evis saved Loncopué from getting behind. Baltasar Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Evis having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Baltasar Chale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Loncopué players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Unzué were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Leobardo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Jacobo Taurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Leobardo struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Raul Veremundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loncopué. Jimeno Senon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Saturnino Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Chale in the 73rd minute of play. Jacobo Taurino hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Baltasar Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marcos Checa came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Unzué fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Checa couldn't finish the play. When Unzué's Baltasar Chale in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Loncopué's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltasar Chale in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saturnino Evis saved Loncopué from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Loncopué's goalkeeper Saturnino Evis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltasar Chale. Unzué's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
